I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2019. I started some diabetes diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. At that point i knew something wasn’t right and began to do a lot of research. Then I found a diabetes website http://www.wellhealthplans.com/diabetestreatmentvideo I read that article from end to end because everything the writer was saying made absolute sense. I started the diet that day and the next morning my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 30 pounds and 6+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods
ly agreed to get a diet for diabetics with kidney disease and high blood pressure vasectomy.
No but this is also my third pregnancy and first with GD. It’s also my last pregnancy. 🙂
Second pregnancy, second time with GD. It didn’t deter me, but I knew there was a 50/50 chance I’d get GD again.
husband doesn’t want anymore and I’d have to agree. Don’t want to be out numbered ??
Yes for me how to lower blood sugar really fast lol, but I’ve only wanted 1 kid to begin with
It has for me. This is baby #2 and we were most likely done anyway (unless we somehow won the lottery so I could quit my job and buy a bigger house lol) but I’m also 33 and my hubby is 36, so the thought of having more children after this one seems nuts anyway. Also wouldn’t want to have to deal with GD likely for an entire pregnancy next time around lol, so yeah we’re most likely foods to avoid in gestational diabetes done, 2 is good!
Pretty glad that this experience was with my last baby. I did want a 4th and we decided no more after this GD pregnancy ??????
Not really. I was diagnosed around week 26 in my first pregnancy and 10 weeks this one. Wouldn’t change getting pregnant a second time for anything.
I was pretty sure I was one and done because of my age (39). Fiancé is on the fence but with how bad my sugars have how to lower blood sugar really fast been I can’t imagine doing this again. I was diagnosed at 16 weeks.
My first was fine, but this one was so difficult. I don’t think I could do it again
This is my second, had to do ivf to get pregnant with this one but another wouldn’t really be in the cards anyway. But if I did want more, I wouldn’t let this deter me. In the scheme of things its such a short period of time and I’d how many carbs should diabetic have per day hate to regret not doing it
Yes. This is my second gd pregnancy. Originally after my daughter I was told to wait at least a year before having another to give your body time to fully heal. So I waited 2 years. My doctor calls this a consecutive pregnancy which makes it harder on
No GD with first pregnancy and I remember loving being pregnant. Diagnosed with GD at 12 weeks and this pregnancy has been so much harder to deal with. Currently 33 weeks along and I’m having a really rough day. Ask again when I’ve not been crying a
Nope, I think I could withstand a lot more to have another child if we wanted a bigger family still. This is my third baby, long time journey to get pregnant, finally did IVF, dealing with gd sucks but I’d take this temporary situation hands down again if we planned on more.
I had one healthy after diagnosis and am pregnant again. Hopefully, doesn’t happen again.
Yep, this is my second how to lower blood sugar really fast with GD and I don’t want to do it again. On top of other health concerns. I’m done after this one.
Yes,but this baby was a surprise and our first girl and we weren’t planning on having anymore anyway.
Yes completely and this also has. Caused major stress
No. I was diagnosed with GD with my second kiddo at 5 weeks and diagnosed early again with my third and current baby! It sucks but is worth it.
I really do hate it but it doesn’t affect me that bad.
No, I’m diet controlled and it doesn’t bother me in the
