how to lower blood sugar quickly emergency without medication

I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2019. I started some diabetes diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. At that point i knew something wasn’t right and began to do a lot of research. Then I found a diabetes website http://www.wellhealthplans.com/diabetestreatmentvideo I read that article from end to end because everything the writer was saying made absolute sense. I started the diet that day and the next morning my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 30 pounds and 6+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods

My first was no GD. My second was GD and Cholestasis. I almost swore off any other how to lower blood sugar quickly emergency without medication kids. I’m 28 weeks with our third. Just passed my 1 hour and so far no Cholestasis. So just because you have it one pregnancy doesn’t mean you’ll get it again. And my GD was hard and rough with insulin for night and super strict and limited meal options. ?
Since I had it with my first I definitley feel “doomed” to have it in my future good diets for type 1 diabetes pregnancies (even tho I know there’s a chance I won’t) but I would do it at least one more time.
same. I wanted 3 but now i feel like it’ll be 2 because i don’t think i can do this two more times.
Just because you have it with one pregnancy doesnt mean you will have it with others. I didnt have it with my first 5 kids. My 6th I had it. My 7th I didnt (officially) have it but still tested my sugars and watched what I ate. My sugars did increase and I was less tolerant after 32ish weeks. I just watched how to lower blood sugar quickly emergency without medication it.
I’m 3 weeks postpartum with #2 and still on the fence on whether we are done or not. Having GD this pregnancy isn’t making or breaking my decision though. Although pricking my fingers and getting put on medication sucked, the diet and slow weight gain wasn’t so bad. I feel like the diet has helped me be more conscious with eating now. Already down 30 of 40 lbs. I wouldn’t not have a 3rd baby how to lower blood sugar on ketogenic diet because of this.
I am 33 weeks pregnant with GD baby #2 how to lower blood sugar quickly emergency without medication and it’s a girl so now I will have one of each. I am 32 years old so thinking I am done but not doing anything permanent to myself.
This has definitely affected me. I’ve wanted 3 pretty much forever but this is #1 and doing this two more times sounds terrible. I also have a fear that I’ll get diagnosed super early next time and I’ll have to do this for 30 weeks instead of 8-10. 8-10 sounds how to lower blood sugar quickly emergency without medication doable and annoying but temporary, 30 weeks sounds so daunting.
Samantha Shanku I’m the same! This is first one. Took a lot to get her here, now to finish the last 8-10 weeks with GD has been overwhelming. I don’t know that I could do it all over again but start at like 10-12 weeks and do this for 6 months! The die
Allie Dover Floyd absolutely. Everything you just said. Took us a year and a half to conceive. And for lots of other reasons life has how to lower blood sugar quickly emergency without medication been kind of a nightmare since we got pregnant, and I’m sure it will all be worth it, but it’s tough. We eat pretty cl
I’ve gone through GD 3 times. It didn’t stop me. It’s a few months of misery and it passes quickly compared to a lifetime with your children.
I don’t know if we’ll have any more diet for insulin resistance anyway, this is my 5th living child but first time with GD. GD is the least of my worries, i worry more about my age/blood clotting issues/etc. The diet/meds/insulin really aren’t a big deal as long as baby is healthy.
This is my 4th child, 3rd with GD, and I had GD with my first. During pregnancy with each GD kid I’ve thought I can’t do this again, but then I get the fever. But now that we’ve got our four, we will be finished and my husband has gracious
