how to lower blood sugar levels

I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2019. I started some diabetes diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. At that point i knew something wasn’t right and began to do a lot of research. Then I found a diabetes website http://www.wellhealthplans.com/diabetestreatmentvideo I read that article from end to end because everything the writer was saying made absolute sense. I started the diet that day and the next morning my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 30 pounds and 6+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods

st – never want to go through this again!
Not for me! Ten years later no regrets. It’s extreme dieting in pregnancy! Worth having that beautiful baby
Not at all I feel like every pregnancy is different and eating low carb and checking my blood sugar should be apart of my daily life anyway (I’m post gastric sleeve)
It made me a little more hesitant about having another. I had it with my first kid who is now 6 and have it again how to lower blood sugar levels with my 2nd pregnancy…. needless to say I’m done after this
I’ve always been on the fence of one and done. I was an only child, and loved it.
Having HG for two trimesters straight and then getting this diagnosis has planted me FIRMLY on the OAD side. I am never f-ing doing this again.
This is my 3rd, I had already said this was my last at the beginning. I never had how to lower blood sugar levels GD with my other two and now that I’m almost done with this pregnancy I’m 1,000 times more for sure… I’m getting fixed.
Nope. I had it with my first and 3rd but not 2and. As much as it sucks now you completely forget about it as soon as baby is born and you’re done poking yourself.
Not at all. I had gd with my first and my second and now my third
When I first got diagnosed I said I would never have another (this was my third but first with gd) after baby was born how to lower blood sugar levels I knew I could do it again if I really wanted to. I was diagnosed at 14 weeks so I basically had to follow the diet my entire pregnancy
glad I’m done after this one, honestly. we knew it was our last anyway… but the number of complications that have come up is ??
No… I don’t think a few month of me not getting to eat my favorite things is something I’d choose not to have more kids over.
Also, just because you have GDM with one pregnancy doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll have it with a different pregnancy
It did with my first. But here I am pregnant again and have gd again ??
This baby was always going to complete our family but I don’t find gd stressful enough that I wouldn’t continue if I wanted to.
100% YES! This is my 2nd child both foods for diabetics type 1 boys & had GD with both pregnancies. I’d love to have a girl. But I can’t take having GD how to lower blood sugar levels again. It’s a nightmare.
Nope! I love every second of this experience, even the GD.
This is my first pregnancy and man it has been rough. Almost every possible complication… I think I might be one and done because if I get pregnant again it’s going to be “geriatric” ??
Nope not at all! After struggling healthy 8 things for diabetes to eat with infertility and a few losses I am more than happy and willing to do this all over again if it means I can have more children.
FTM here!! My husband and I just how to lower blood sugar levels want two kids! So we’ll try to have 1 more after this, but I’m so scared of having GD again. ??
No. This is my 2nd and we will go for a third. But being that I was overweight to begin with and barely failed my test I think if I continue to get healthy I’ll be fine… really shooting for that girl ??
It did at first. But after speaking to my doctor my husband and I decided how to lower blood sugar levels we’ll have a third in a few years!
