I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2019. I started some diabetes diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. At that point i knew something wasn’t right and began to do a lot of research. Then I found a diabetes website http://www.wellhealthplans.com/diabetestreatmentvideo I read that article from end to end because everything the writer was saying made absolute sense. I started the diet that day and the next morning my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 30 pounds and 6+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods
my GP next week. My feet hurt every single day as do my calves. Will this improve with this way of life also? TIA ??

My Grandmother passed away this morning. how much carbs per day for a diabetic This is the first death I’ve experienced since my diagnosis. I want to drink pop and eat all the Oreos. I won’t. But, darn it! It’s incredible how grief can tempt old habits. ?? Please pray for my family, and for me to have the strength to get through this in a healthy way. ???
I went to the doctor today to get my lab results my glucose was 576 three months ago and now it’s 100. My hemoglobin A-1 C was 15.5 and now I am at 6.6. My cholesterol level was 292 and now I’m down how many carbs can a diabetic have in one day to 173. Triglycerides were at 730, and now they are at 211. My weight was 156 , now 124! I have lost 32 pounds! Overall I’m really happy about it doesn’t mean I’m going to quit and I keep going.

I’m trying not to eat any sweets except fruit. Talking with my psychiatrist, he confirmed that I have a sugar addiction. He wants me to stop eating sweets, and I’m afraid that I’m not going to be able to stop. Even having diabetes has not stopped me from eating sweets, but it’s time for me to beat this addiction! I just need some support!
