I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2019. I started some diabetes diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. At that point i knew something wasn’t right and began to do a lot of research. Then I found a diabetes website http://www.wellhealthplans.com/diabetestreatmentvideo I read that article from end to end because everything the writer was saying made absolute sense. I started the diet that day and the next morning my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 30 pounds and 6+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods
me I figured time to eat, knowing it was going to keep going down. For lunch I tried heating up spaghetti squash from dinner the night before (love it)… made me wanna puke, so nauseaus couldn’t eat it. I did fine eating the 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, still nauseous but got it down. Ate half of a red bell pepper, then barely could stomach my two slices of hard salami. I drank some water since I’ve only had coffee and GatoradeZero. Still nauseous. I never eat this light. I will eat 2 chicken breasts, half a plate of steamed veggies gestational diabetes meal.ideas and a cup of cottage cheese with how many carbs to reverse diabetes no problem. Today I’m like a bird, and the nausea won’t go away. Last night at dinner I couldn’t eat my spinach for the same nausea response to it, but had no issue eating 2 hotdogs(Hebrew national). Have any of you ever experienced this? I’m going on 24 hours of intermittent nausea. I am a person who almost never gets sick, I know its not the heat (we have central air), I’ve never had any side effects from my 1000 mg /day metformin. Just curious if anyone has had any similar random bouts of nausea?
