I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2019. I started some diabetes diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. At that point i knew something wasn’t right and began to do a lot of research. Then I found a diabetes website http://www.wellhealthplans.com/diabetestreatmentvideo I read that article from end to end because everything the writer was saying made absolute sense. I started the diet that day and the next morning my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 30 pounds and 6+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods

Let me give you a little more clarification . There are starchy carbohydrates and non starchy carbohydrates but they are still carbohydrates. Starchy carbohydrates impact blood sugar much higher than non starchy carbohydrates. So we avoid them .
on starchy carbohydrates have little to no impact but you must watch your portion to keep your total grams no more than 50 total grams for the day.

Peanuts are a legume not a nut and are higher in carbs . So you must keep your consumption if you choose peanut butter to how to lower blood sugar fast a small amount . I was in drug trial that got lyrica fda approved. Caused me to gain 50 pounds. My dr found that is unfortunate side effect. I will not use it again.
Lyrica failed to help neuropathy in my feet…made me “goofy”…I quit !
How many carbohydrates are you eating per day. Metformin does not play nice with your stomach if you eat more than 50 per how many carbs a day is a diabetic supposed to have day. I’m not familiar with the other medications.
can’t say I carb count but I do watch the carbs I eat

Trulicity works well for me. Very expensive, but, Endo gives me samples.
I use carb manager app and track everything I eat, you will be surprised how much you put in your mouth when you start tracking. In 3 months 30 carbs total a day, most days and my A1C went from 9.3 to 5.7, what you eat is like life and death and so many foods have hidden carbs and sugar!
I fast at least 40hrs, 2x a week. So I don’t eat Tuesdays and Fridays. The other days I fast for 18-20 hours. With a 4-6 eating window. Paired with this woe, it works well for my schedule and food list for type 2 diabetes pdf body.
