I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2019. I started some diabetes diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. I started the diet that day and the next morning my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 30 pounds and 6+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods
to be, less than 7.
This is just what I do – soak my feet in cold water for a few minutes, then grab a compliant cold drink, sit down & put my feet up. A not very professional or medical answer, but that helps me.
I wear ice booties. It helps. If you don’t have them you can use an ice pack.
What is your b.s.? Admin advise to honey or maple syrup for diabetics go to ER IF above 250. Watch out about putting ice or heat on feet as you could damage. Your feet may have lost feeling so that you can’t tell when things are too hot or too cold.

This is not a quick fix, honey or maple syrup for diabetics and I don’t know if your blood sugar is under control … but, begin to eat only from our food list. Keep your carbs at less than 50 ea day. If you are taking blood sugar lowering meds check w your dr the dosing may need adjusted. You should see better numbers quickly, which in turn will help u to feel better. ??

Glipizide honey or maple syrup for diabetics is a sulfonylurea drug . If you start having true lows ( below 65) while on it following this woe or not that is an indicator that you need to talk to your doctor about adjusting your dosage lower

make sure you are testing the eat to your meter way of testing and test often
I used to be on it. That was the first pill the doctor got rid of after I’d been having lows thanks to this WOE.
I have been instructed to take in the a.m, and 30 mins before eating breakfast.

I don’t use that so I’m assuming you’re saying it’s no longer good. If that’s case, call your insurance company and ask if they would authorize a one-time emergency Rx. Also call doc and ask for samples, maybe?

Call you emergency number for your dr. I know I let my insulin sit out and don’t refrigerate to use it and it’s fine. My dr told me to do that. I keep the extras in the fridge so check if it will honey or maple syrup for diabetics be ok to use
