I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2019. I started some diabetes diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. At that point i knew something wasn’t right and began to do a lot of research. I started the diet that day and the next morning my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 30 pounds and 6+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods

Feet on the floor. Happens a lot. Morning wake up hormones raise bs. Needs some food and/or just bolus insulin to bring it back into range. Sometimes people blame the rise on the first cup of coffee, lol, but that’s just timing coincidence. It’s feet on floor effect.
Mine does that every morning. Doc good food for diabetes in hindi said it is my liver dumping glucose to give my body energy.
Liver. Your liver stores glucose and releases it as needed, pancreas is insulin.

try 10 g of carb and a little protien at bedtime or 2 a.m. if you are up. Test you bg then and upon rising See what happens.

I have. Didn’t make a difference. I’ve been a T2 for 20+ years. Tried just about everything. Now I start a temp basal how many carbs should type 2 diabetics have per meal about 2am. Can’t set a program because it varies so much.
My son (not diabetic) used to get that a lot because of allergies. Now he takes Zyrtec daily and no longer has these frequent infections
Zyrtec helps. Sometimes need more. Ive had it so many times over the years.
I manage a telehealth program at my local community mental health center. I think it is the thought of doing video for the first time that makes people nervous. It’s not bad at all. Most good food for diabetes in hindi programs and apps you can only see the provider on the screen so you’re not staring at your own face on the screen! thank you. The doc’ nurse set me up and explained it all. I don’t even like zoom, but I’ll do it. They won’t let me come in just in case my symptoms are from COVID19, which doesn’t seem likely. But I understand their caution.

Hi ya’ll, I’m from La. that’s how we address more than 1 person…saw PA via FaceTime bc the telemed thing wasn’t working. She said having this 3 times in 31/2 months, antibiotics won’t help. Steroids and cough meds. Watch the sugar with steroids, she
said its a low dose. Also made referral to an allergist. Allergic rhinitis creates the sore throats, chest congestion, etc. relieved not something much worse and hoping for a solution, but have done the allergist thing before. Fingers crossed. I so appreciate ya’ll. ??
