foods to avoid by diabetes

I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2019. I started some diabetes diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. At that point i knew something wasn’t right and began to do a lot of research. Then I found a diabetes website http://www.wellhealthplans.com/diabetestreatmentvideo I read that article from end to end because everything the writer was saying made absolute sense. I started the diet that day and the next morning my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 30 pounds and 6+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods

Taylor Michele 1. My daughter got to the point she’d cry everytime with lantus because it burned so bad. Never with her short acting. Our Endo recommended switching to a different long acting.
2. We always put insulin back in the foods to avoid by diabetes fridge. Side note: It also didn’t make a difference with the burn when we didn’t. That was something we originally wondered.

Lili Gluz I love Tresiba because it has a duration of approximately 36 hours. Hate lantus because it had to be split up since the duration was less than 24 hrs. No insulin should burn when injecting.
You can put it back in fridge or keep it out. I’ve used mine longer than a month without any problems.
Gayla Ber Lantus stings when I inject if it’s still cold or I hit that spot.
Elias A. Mawla I keep my levemir and novorapid in the fridge most of the time. Is that wrong storage??
Lynne Arnott Keeping it stored in the fridge before use is important. Once you start to use it, it’s fine for 28 days out of the fridge at room temperature.
