diabetic meal plan order

I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2019. I started some diabetes diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. At that point i knew something wasn’t right and began to do a lot of research. Then I found a diabetes website http://www.wellhealthplans.com/diabetestreatmentvideo I read that article from end to end because everything the writer was saying made absolute sense. I started the diet that day and the next morning my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 30 pounds and 6+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods

I pair it with protein.
I think diabetic meal plan order it depends on the person. I had to change my diet entirely though
For me, it definitely helps. So far, I can eat all the things I normally do, just in smaller portions, but some things I do better if I take a walk after, some don’t seem to matter. I’ve heard it gets harder as you progress (I’m just under 32w).
I was diagnosed at 34 weeks, I am now 38 weeks going for c section Thursday coming up. It’s been like a crazy journey for me and it’s only been a few weeks but like I’m so nervous because I just want everything to go well with me and baby after delivery so I’m like being extra careful these last few days but gosh it’s hard and scary ??
When I want a treat or something that is carb heavy I watch my portions closely. For example, having half a cup of pasta salad.
Totally helped. I’m the pasta queen-normally ate 2+ servings, now I have 1 and am fine with numbers.
I changed my entire diet. I portion everything out. For instance I have a half a cup of oatmeal with a half a cup of blueberries and then add peanut butter to help keep my numbers in range sometimes I add extra blueberries bc I love blueberries when I do that I just add extra peanut butter.
It absolutely depends on the person. Everyone is different. For me, it was the biggest factor I changed and I have been diet controlled for 6 months now. Currently at 39 weeks and 2 days. But that’s me and my situation.
I didn’t have to change my diet at all. Just portions. I can have basically anything (I haven’t tried soda, I know that’ll be bad) without spiking if I keep portions controlled and add protein to it.
Most things i eat the same except some pastas but most of the time i can just portion it and be fine
I started out just having smaller diabetic meal plan order portions of the same carbs I had been eating how to lower blood sugar to lose weight (at 12 weeks). But I slowly had to cut most of them out. I can still do a small white baked potato and pretty much any fruit in the right portion. Bread and rice don’t get along with me very well
My doctor said I just had to eat smaller portions I think it depends on how bad of GD you have ??
I am a first timer. But i packed a few outfits. Like loose in case of c section. diabetic meal plan order Shower things. Chapstick. Hair tie and headband slippers and flip flops. And a robe
We are due date twins! Charger, clothes for Dad to sleep in, drinks and snacks, nursing tanks and loose pants. This time I will be packing tylenol and ibuprofen because they technically discharged me earlier than baby and could no longer give me medici
At our hospital baby has to wear their clothes/onesies while there and can only be in clothes does eating gluten free help diabetes to come home or for pictures at the hospital. So I just take one outfit to come home in. Chapstick was a must for my last 2. Shower stuff, loose fitting cloth
Your own pillow for you and partner, flip flops (I brought for hospital shower but I swelled up so much after C section they were the only shoes that fit), extra phone charger.
Honestly with no visitors I didn’t use h
