I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2019. I started some diabetes diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. At that point i knew something wasn’t right and began to do a lot of research. Then I found a diabetes website http://www.wellhealthplans.com/diabetestreatmentvideo I read that article from end to end because everything the writer was saying made absolute sense. I started the diet that day and the next morning my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 30 pounds and 6+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods

e a go to Starbucks order and a go to Dunkin order. I was doing diabetic food journalinstant sugar free coffee but after 2 months I’m over it. I am giving birth this Tuesday or next Tuesday, and I am just done with Splenda
Idk how good it is at all in relation to GD but the paperwork the doctor gave me when I first became pregnant said 1 cup of normal coffee a day is okay for baby so I have been drinking just one 8 ounce cup of coffee a day and my little one is healthy in there with that amount so far ?
also I try to make sure I eat a healthy snack or breakfast before drinking it since it kinda makes my appetite go away
I drink a cup of decaf every day with my breakfast with fairlife milk and a little diabetic dinner recipes food network sugar and cinnamon. My numbers are always good.
I have two cups of half cafe everyday with sugar free creamer. Doesn’t do much to my breakfast number. The days I don’t have coffee they are a smidge lower though.
I haven’t drank coffee in two years and I have a massive craving for ice cap at timmies but I won’t be getting one until the baby is born lol
I have no issue with 1 cuppa coffee a day but then I am suddenly hypertensive! ??
Coffee is fine. It’s the sugar/milk/some kinds of creamers that will get you. My doctors said coffee counts as one of our free times as long as we add a little bit of creamer
i have done ok with white buns for burgers but haven’t tried just regular bread
perfect. We are all so different in how our hormones process.
Personally I do fine with sandwiches, I always eat fresh veggies with them. We are all different though!
I’ve been too nervous to how many carbs can a pre diabetic have per day try plain white but I use this from Aldis and have really good numbers!

had a piece with my breakfast this morning(2 eggs, bacon & sausage) & tested 9diabetic food journal 7! Had a burger tonight on 2 toasted slices and I’m pretty confident I will test good again(test in 20 min) ??
Only white bread i can use is Schmidt’s 647 low carb bread
I can’t do white bread or anything the sugars make me spike but I can do 21 grain and seed bread.
I can’t do white bread, but i like the Nature’s Own Sugar Free bread.
I had white bread for dinner the other day and my fasting paid for it the next day. Everybody diabetic food journal is different and you won’t know until you try it ??????
I do whole wheat but I did whole wheat before diagnosis also.
Not at all. I can only have 1 slice of wheat bread and it has to be lunch or dinner.
I haven’gestational diabetes diet plan pdft tried it, but I do ok with the whole wheat!
I don’t do well with white bread, but whole wheat and sourdough I do alright as long as there is a lot of meat or protein on the sandwich
