diabetic eating bread

I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2019. I started some diabetes diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. At that point i knew something wasn’t right and began to do a lot of research. Then I found a diabetes website http://www.wellhealthplans.com/diabetestreatmentvideo I read that article from end to end because everything the writer was saying made absolute sense. I started the diet that day and the next morning my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 30 pounds and 6+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods

actually fact.
I was told the same thing but 8 pounds and over. I have heard this from a couple of people.
No, that’s not right. My hubby was 8lbs odd and his mother was healthy as a horse. She got tested for it several times because shes barely over 5ft tall ??
My first was 9lbs10oz and second was 8lbs 7oz. No gd. My third was 5lbs12oz no gd also, she was 3 weeks early. Baby #4 and first time with gd, hes going to be a big boy (98th percentile) but I think that’s possibly just due to my genetics. I was a big baby and so diabetic eating bread was my partner.
Well, my first was 9lb 3oz and my gd test was negative with him
My son was 10 pounds 13 oz and I didn’t have GD with him. That’s just simply not true. Genetics also plays a huge role and how far along you were when you gave birth.
Hahaha! My first was my biggest at 8.10 and I was nowhere close to gd. My 4th is the only one where I failed the 1 hour and barely passed the 3 hour, but he was the smallest at just under 7 pounds.
My second was 9 12. Not gd..third was 7 12. We will.see about my second gd baby in a few weeks
Uh what!?! I feel like I wouldn’t trust any advice she gave after that comment
All mine were almost 10lbs, I’ve had 4 and the 4th was the only gd.
My sister had big babies too and she didn’t have GD her first was 10 lbs and her second was 9
That is so how to lower blood sugar gestational diabetes wrong lol. Especially since you still do a glucose diabetic eating bread test lol.
This is baby # 5 and first time having it. I passed the 1 hour with all 4 and all 4 babies were 7lbs….
My mother had a 9lb 10oz baby no GD…report that lady she knows nothing
Wrong. My first was 10 pounds and I was definetely tested for GD and passed. We just have large babies in my family. Shes not even the biggest lol. My dad is one of 9 children and all but two sisters are taller than him. He’s 5’10”. ????
Both of my previous babies were 8 pounds at diabetic eating bread birth and I did 3 hour glucoses with both of them bc I was at risk from being overweight. Neither times showed GD but they suspect I had it undiagnosed with my son, as he was 8 pounds at 38 weeks and suffered from low blood sugar and problems breathing. He was the biggest baby in foods to be avoided by diabetics the NICU.
My first was 9lbs 11oz at his 39 week birth. They tested me like 3-4x and I did NOT have it. They labeled him with macrosomia ??
All mine have been 9/10 lbs and no GD. I did have an elevated 1 hr but normal 3 hour with the first. Always close but never enough for the diagnosis. I’m on #4 and waiting to get my 1 hour results
I passed the glucose test with both of my previous children and they were almost 10 and 9 lbs soooooo I don’t think she is right at all lol
Out of both of my boys my non gd was bigger so idk!!
I must have had it with all diabetic eating bread mine then! I was only tested with my youngest as they didn’t test with the others x
Its really wild to me that people in this profession get information like this seriously wrong ??
What? That’s the stupidest thing diabetic dinner casserole recipes I’ve ever heard. Pretty sure the average birth weight of a healthy baby is like 7 or 8 pounds.
