I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and put on Metformin on June 26th, 2019. I started some diabetes diet and followed it 100% for a few weeks and could not get my blood sugar to go below 140. Finally i began to panic and called my doctor, he told me to get used to it. He said I would be on metformin my whole life and eventually insulin. At that point i knew something wasn’t right and began to do a lot of research. Then I found a diabetes website http://www.wellhealthplans.com/diabetestreatmentvideo I read that article from end to end because everything the writer was saying made absolute sense. I started the diet that day and the next morning my blood sugar was down to 100 and now i have a fasting blood sugar between Mid 70’s and the 80’s. My doctor took me off the metformin after just three week of being on this lifestyle change. I have lost over 30 pounds and 6+ inches around my waist in a month. The truth is we can get off the drugs and help myself by trying natural methods

I try to vary how I prepare them. Maybe once a week, I eat some other form of protein.Not cereal though!
Is this a choice? Or something that you have been told?
just limited options due to t1d and blood sugar spikes! Oatmeal diabetic foods and snacks and cereal spike me! Low carb yogurt is pretty good too but eggs with zero carbs is where it’s at!!??
I agree, zero carbs are good. My blood glucose spikes if I have oatmeal diabetic diet planner etc. Have you tried scrambled egg with salmon? It’s awesome or ham in an omelette? I love eating low carb pancakes with blueberries.
I miss oatmeal very much. Plain, steel cut. I haven’t tried them since diagnosis and I’m a how many carbs can you have if your diabetic little scared to!
Hate eggs so I don’t eat them . only eggs I like are deviled eggs
There are so many ways to prepare them, that i rarely get bored. But honestly, if you want breakfast with plenty of diabetic diet planner protein, you can make whatever you want. It doesn’t have to be “breakfast foods”. There have been days i have been in a rush and reheated dinner leftovers for my breakfast. In japan, they often have fish for breakfast.

Try Avacado egg salad – diabetic diet planner chia pudding – 90 second bread with a little sf maple syrup – drizzle scrambled veggies and egg with sf syrup – just have to get creative
I don’t normally eat much at all for breakky, nearly anything spikes sugars at that time of day. Just good ole cuppa tea ??
I like my coffee with international Creamer but it really spikes my sugar. Don’t like it black and I’ve cut down how much I use. I like the flavor. Any suggestions?

never thought about that.. I’ve been diluting my coffee creamer with 1% milk.

Me too I have steel oats with banana or strawberries or have protein pancakes or waffles
I eat oatmeal all the time and getting tired of it.
I like Two Good Yogurt and make some Keto breakfast recipes. Low carb muffins, pancakes, etc
just make sure to meet with your food specialist before you go down this road (nutritionist, dietitian, etc.) A Keto recipe every now and again is fine; living Keto will require some education first about the dangers and other things; there’s also the possibility that it just might not be right for you
I am not doing keto but they have good low carb recipes and I watch my macros for the day

You don’t have to stick with this for breakfast, there are other options ??
